On Monday, November 3, 2025. 10 GMS students participated in Day 1 of the Virginia Tech Middle School Experience (MiX) Program. Students were assigned Virginia Tech Student Mentors who gave them a tour of the campus, ate lunch with them in the D2 Dining Hall and completed a quilt square all about their likes and interests. GMS students will participate in two more college experiences including a College and Career Fair in Abingdon and another visit to the VT Campus.
